Obituary for George R Tefft
George R. Tefft, age 66 of Greenville passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016.
He was born the son of Burt & Cora (Geelhood) Tefft in Ionia on May 6, 1950 and they have preceded him in death as well as his sister Sharon.
Surviving George is his daughter, Audrey (Jon) Ringleka of Greenville; son, Sgt. First Class Joe (Casey) Tefft of Florence, Alabama; sisters, Carolyn Foster of Belding, Ruth (Gary) Hall of Belding; brothers, John (Jean) Tefft of White Pigeon, Mike (Tami) Tefft of Belding; grandchildren Triston & Aiden Ringleka of Greenville, Vance & Sterling Tefft of Florence, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
George loved to have a good time and had a very contagious laugh. He was a self-taught Die Setter and enjoyed camping, playing games with friends and family, especially board and card games and he loved his Rock-n-Roll music. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
George’s family will be celebrating his life on Saturday, July 9, 2016 between 11 AM and 2 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan and his family invites you to join them in that celebration.
