Betty Lou Rowley, age 76 of Ionia passed away at her home on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

She was born the daughter of Orville & Leda (Mangus) Hendrick on February 16, 1940 in Isabella County and they along with her brothers and sisters, Loren, Robert, Orville Jr., William, Floyd, Arlene, Pauline, Maxine and Mary have proceeded her in death.

Betty is survived by her children, Barbara Bussell of Lowell, Linda (Robert) Rensi of Fenton, Dennis Bussell of Ohio, Franklin (Carol) Bussell of Ionia; one sister, Margaret Reed of Sheridan; one brother, George (Judy) Hendrick of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Betty loved her family, she enjoyed spending time with them and really like watching her two younger brothers race at Crystal Raceway. She enjoyed going to the casino with her sisters and friends and was always the designated picture taker at every event. She enjoyed looking for 4-leaf clovers and watching the NASCAR races on Sunday. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services for Betty are being held at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes in Sheridan on Friday, September 9, 2016 beginning at 11 AM with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating.
