Obituary for Jacqueline Marie Greenhoe (Rowland)

Jacqueline Marie Greenhoe (Rowland)
Jacqueline M. Greenhoe, age 77, of Sheridan, went to be with her Lord and was blessedly released from her long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her home surrounded in love by her family.

She was born the daughter of Harold & Verna (Ashley) Rowland on August 3, 1939 in Belding. They both precede her in death.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronnie; sons, Dean Greenhoe of Sheridan, Doug (Kelli) Greenhoe of Sheridan; grandchildren, Jesse (David) Urmanic of Carson City, Andrew (Kelly) Greenhoe of Sheridan; great granddaughter, Lilly Urmanic of Carson City; sister, Arlene “Wort” Bookie of Sheridan; brother, Jack Rowland of Sheridan and special friends and caregivers, Alicia Faling of Stanton and Peggy Rowland of Sheridan.

Saying Jackie loved to cook would be an understatement. It didn’t matter if it was cooking for all the hunters, or the many kids she took in over the years, Jackie liked sharing her talents in the kitchen with everyone, especially her homemade noodles and famous escalloped potatoes and “guck” dish. But more than cooking, Jackie loved her family, especially her grandkids and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation with Jackie’s family will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Sheridan Assembly of God Church (4010 S. Sheridan Road, Sheridan, MI) from 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral services for Jackie are being held at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Sheridan Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jerry Carlson officiating. Graveside services will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Jackie’s memory the family has suggested donations be made to the Sheridan Assembly of God church and envelopes will be available during the visitation and funeral.
