Patricia Ann Wright, age 61 of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.

She was born the daughter of George & Geraldine (Tessman) Kellams on March 4, 1955 in Mt. Clemens.

Patty is preceded in death by her father; brother, Joseph Kellams and a nephew, Terry Hubbell.

Surviving Patty is her mother Geraldine; her husband of 45 years, Mike Sr.; daughters, Patricia Ann Wright of Sidney, Lora (Tony) Sorsen of Sheridan, Bonnie (Michael) Sharrock of Ionia; sons, Michael (Michelle) Wright of Sheridan, Gary (Renee) Wright of Fenwick; sisters, Loretta Lynn Sanders of Stanton, Georgianna Hubbell of Stanton, Deb (James) Smith of Stanton, Mary Kellams of Coral; brothers, Paul (Trina) Kellams of Stanton, Ron Kellams of Ludington, Mike Kellams of Sidney, Tony Kellams of Grand Rapids; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Patty was a member of Cornerstone Worship Center in Vestaburg where she taught Sunday School. While she liked to garden and enjoyed her flowers, Patty’s greatest love was her family, especially her kids and grandkids. Patty had five kids of her own, but she was “Mom” to countless others and was always willing to take someone in whenever they needed it. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Visitation with Patty’s family will be on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for Patty will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 beginning at 12 Noon with Pastor Don Wolf officiating. Graveside services being held at Sidney Cemetery.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Patty’s memory you are asked to keep the needs of the family in mind. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home during the visitation and funeral.
