Kay Elaine Sutton, age 81, of Sheridan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Laurels of Carson City.

She was born the daughter of George & Mildred (Wooldridge) Dines on February 8, 1935 in Rockford, Michigan. Her parents as well as a brother, Keith Dines and daughter-in-law, Lorraine Sutton have preceded her in death.

Kay is survived by her daughter, Lugene Kay Sutton of Sheridan; son, Ty Lee Sutton Sr., of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; sister-in-law, Cindy J. Dines of Lakeview; grandchildren, Colette Sutton and Ty Lee Sutton Jr. and special friends, Cathy Scott of Fenwick, Mae Loper of Fenwick and Barbara Edwards of Ionia.

Kay was a member of the Shiloh Community Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She and her daughter enjoyed clogging and going to yard sales and was well known for her peanut butter fudge. When she was younger Kay enjoyed helping the elderly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services for Kay will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 beginning at 11 AM at the Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation with Kay’s family will also be on Tuesday beginning at 10 AM. Final interment will be at the Palo Cemetery in Palo.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Kay’s memory the family suggests donations be made to Our Daily Bread Ministries. Envelopes will be available at the church.
