Obituary for Lamont Hunt

Lamont  Hunt
Lamont J. Hunt, age 51 of Stanton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the McLaren Central Michigan Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

He was born the son of Colonel & Connie (Williford) Hunt in Kannapolis, North Carolina on March 7, 1965. Lamont is preceded in death by his father, Grandma Hunt and one sister, Sandra Hall.

Lamont is survived by his mother Connie Franks of Stanton; wife, Stacy Hunt; daughter, Jozlynn Hunt of Stanton; son, Dan (Chrysta) Vansconis of Greenville; granddaughters, Candice & Athena Vansconis both of Greenville; sister, Trina (Paul) Kellams of Stanton; brother, David (Sherry) Hunt of Stanton; cousin, Johnny Hunt of Laurel Springs, North Carolina and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lamont attended Trinity church in Stanton where he also worked as a custodian. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed lifting weights and bowling. Lamont loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and will greatly missed by everyone.

Visitation with Lamont’s family will be on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 10-11 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Stanton (415 N. Mill Street). Funeral services will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Edwards and Pastor Ben Crouse officiating. Final interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton.
