Betty Ann (Garber) Nash, age 86 of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home in Sidney.

Betty was born in Brethren on August 20, 1930, the daughter of Abraham Franklin & Mabel Mae (Keck) Garber and she was the 11th of 14 children. She was a very quiet, private lady who loved her family, watching the birds and other critters around her home. She also loved to garden, loved a tidy home, and having her hair and nails done. Even at 86, Betty was still primping and is now at home with her Lord and Saviour.

She was married on August 8, 1947 to Daniel L. Nash, Jr.

Betty is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Nash 3rd; great-grandchild, Daniel MacDonald; siblings, Dorothy (Earl) Cable, Nada (Harvey) Long, Esther (Harold) Caukin, Robert (Sylvia) Garber, Bernette (Harlo) Ronning, Harold (Mary) Garber, Josephine (Albert) Weaver, Raymond (Arlene) Garber, Merle (Marge) Garber, Thomas Garber, Wesley Garber; siblings-in-law, Harvey Townsend, Doyle Reitz, George Greiner, Madeline (Jack) Roberts, Melvin Nash, Ken (Bonnie) Nash, June Craver, Dona (Gary) Dakin, Roy (Sandy) Nash, Steven Nash and Wayne (Paula) Nash.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Daniel; their children, Sandy (Bob) MacDonald of Sheridan, Brinda (Ron Cornelisse) Oberg of Newaygo, Pam (Bob) Silverthorn of Sidney, Jean Nash of Sheridan, Randy Nash of Sidney; 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Gladys Griener of Cadillac, Lucille (Mike) Tessman of Manistee; sister-in-law Betty (Larry) Bennett of Stanton, Barb Nash of Greenville and many nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
