Obituary for Dale L Wiser

Dale L  Wiser
Dale L. Wiser, age 69 of Carson City, passed away at his home on Monday, December 26, 2016.

He was born the son of Lloyd & Velda (Wierman) Wiser in St. Louis on March 3, 1947 and they along with a sister, Ruth Pollock and two brothers, Dennis Wiser and Charles Wiser precede him in death.

Dale is survived by two sisters, Denise “Susie” (Chris) Geselman of Sheridan, Michele (Oliver) Johnson of Greenville; brother, Donald “Butch” (Cindy) Wiser of Sheridan; many nieces, nephews and cousins and his dog P.J.

Dale was retired from AGA Marvel after 48 years. When he wasn’t working he loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors. He enjoyed cutting wood with his friend Larry and was very big into racing lawn mowers, modified lawn mower pulls and loved watching NASCAR races.

Visitation with Dale’s family will be on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for Dale will be at 11 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Final interment will be at the Crystal Cemetery.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Dale’s memory the family suggest they be made to the Sheridan VFW Post 5065 and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
