Obituary for Eli J Miller

Eli J. Miller, age 87 of Lakeview, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

He was born in Salt Creek Township, located in Wayne County, Ohio on November 7, 1929 the son of Joseph & Mattie Miller. They along with his wife, Elizabeth and son Joe Miller have preceded him in death.

Eli is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Abe) Miller of Lakeview, Fannie (Joni) Hershberger of Stanton, Mattie (Alvin) Shetler of Lakeview, his sons, Crist (Carolina) Miller of Lakeview, Levi (Fannie) Miller of Engadine, Michigan, Dan (Lizzie) Miller of Lakeview, Eli Jr. (Barbara) Miller of Greenville, Michigan, Elmer (Barbara) Miller, Engadine, Michigan, Joni (Katie) Miller of Lakeview, two sisters, Lizzie Wengerd of Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania and Fannie (Sam) Miller of Bellville, Ontario Canada, one brother, Levi (Mary) Miller of Lucknow, Ontario, Canada, several grandchildren as well as many great grandchildren.

Formally of Ohio, Mr. Miller has been a resident of the Lakeview area since 1974 and is a member of the Old Order Amish community.

Funeral services for Mr. Miller are being held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, beginning at 10 AM at the Miller home, located at 7750 Kendaville Road, Lakeview, with interment following in the Greenville North Amish Cemetery, Six Lakes.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Miller home where friends and relatives are welcome to stop by anytime during the day.
