Joyce Ann Tefft, age 77 of Fenwick, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

She was born the daughter of Robert & Leona (Lund) Larsen on December 28, 1939 and they along with her husband, Eugene Tefft; brother, Fred Larsen; sister, Betty Ross and brother-in-law, Ronald Tefft precede her in death.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Linda (Michael) Hayden of Carson City, Doris (Rodney) Vining of Crystal, Amy Tefft of Sheridan; grandchildren, Tim (Jill) Woodworth of Rockford, Tammy Woodworth of Denver, Colorado, Eric (Heather) Bouchard of Carson City, Justin (Stephanie) Bouchard of Phoenix, Arizona, Shaina Johnson (Ryan Jensen) of Edmore, Mitchell (Kristen) Johnson of Cherokee, Alabama, Abbie (Kevin) DeWitt of Mt. Pleasant; great grandchildren, Daniel, Deacon, Christlynn, Mckenzie, Christian, Cailyn, Madelyn, Kiley, Audrey, Gunner; brothers, Don (Lois) Larsen of Stanton, Rev. Robert (Kathy) Larsen of Clifton, Colorado; sister-in-law, Darlene Richard of Fenwick; special friends, Bob Barger of Belding, Sharon Rinckey of Carson City, Judy Wilson of Sheridan, Nic Rhodes of White Hall and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce loved her family, it didn’t matter if it was going to lunch with her nieces and nephews, cooking a big meal for everyone or baking some of her delicious goodies for them, she just loved spending time with them. Joyce also enjoyed tending to her garden, flowers and maintaining her lawn. In addition, Joyce liked to travel, go dancing, fishing, and taking her morning walk.

Visitation with Joyce’s family will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for Joyce will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 beginning at 12 Noon at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Final interment will be next to her husband at Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Joyce’s memory the family suggests you direct them to either Hope Lodge or the American Diabetes Association and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
