Obituary for Tim Boyce
Timothy Harold Boyce, age 53 of Gowen, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold & Lucy Blakeslee and Garrison & Lucy Boyce.
Surviving Tim are his parents John & Alice (Blakeslee) Boyce of Martin; his loving wife, Denise; sister, Kathleen (Paul) Mundo of Phoenix, Arizona; stepsons, Jason Helms (Amy Purdy) of Kansas City, Missouri, Jonathan (Stephanie) Helms of Grand Rapids; step grandson, Jonathan L. Helms of Grand Rapids and his mother-in-law, Joyce Moore of Mecosta.
Tim was a gifted musician who loved to play guitar, which he did in various bands for many years. He also enjoyed fishing and his many trips to Canada. Tim’s passing leaves a big hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him and he will be deeply missed.
Visitation with Tim’s family will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 3 – 4 PM at the Lakeview Community Church (8980 Howard City Edmore Road, Lakeview). Graveside services will begin at 5 PM at the Hinton Cemetery (3680 90th Ave., Lakeview, MI).
For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Tim’s memory you are asked to keep the needs of the family in mind as they deal with his sudden passing.
