Obituary for CL Waldron

CL  Waldron
CL Waldron, age 91 of Crystal passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Hathaway Hills Assisted Living in Greenville under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Caring & Hospice.

He was born the son of Hiram & Lulu (Foley) Waldron on August 1, 1926 and they along with his wife, Dorothy; grandson, Michael Waldron and three brothers and two sisters precede him in death.

CL is survived by his children, Sandy (Norman) Hansen of Edmore; David (Roberta) Waldron of Edmore; Wayne (Mary) Waldron of Stanton; grandchildren, Mark Waldron of Greenville; Jeremy Waldron of Greenville; Angela Mann of Pinckney; Larry Hansen of St. Johns; Denise (Tom) Schneider of Vestaburg; Keith (Heather) Waldron of Stanton; great-granddaughters, Mariah Waldron, Megan Waldron, Michayln Waldron, Kaitlyn (Max) Holly, Kirsten Mann, Mackenzie Mann, Starr Hansen, Brooke (David) Crouse, Haylie Schneider; great-grandsons, Zachary Waldron, Garrett Waldron; great great grandchildren, Alane Anne Crouse and Clara Jane Waldron.

CL was a lifelong farmer and lived on the same farm he was born on his entire life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and taking his dog, Skye, for rides around the farm on his Gator and quad. He was also a proud member of the NRA. CL loved his family, enjoyed spending time with them and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. CL’s family would like to thank the staff of Hathway Hills for the wonderful care they provided CL this past year and the staff of Great Lakes Hospice for the care and compassion they gave him over the last month.

Visitation with CL’s family will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 3 – 8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for CL will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017 beginning at 11 AM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Bruce Anna officiating. Final interment will be next to wife at Ferris Center Cemetery.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in CL’s memory the family suggests donations be directed to Pine Grove Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
