Daniel "Dan"  Hopkins
Dan Hopkins, age 69 of Stanton, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 8, 2018 under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice.

Dan was born the son of Chauncey & Ella (Bonoite) Hopkins on September 17, 1948 and they along with one sister and two brothers precede him in death.

He is survived by wife, Vickey Seymour; daughters, Sherry Hopkins of Ionia, Claudia Hopkins of Mt. Pleasant; Joyce Hopkins of Stanton; Betty Seymour of Sheridan; son, Joe Hopkins of Stanton; sisters, Joyce (Carl) Hoag of Belding; Loia (Ken) Leonard of Fort Mills, South Carolina; brother, George (Peggy) Gomez of Lyons; grandchildren, Wendy Schrauben, Russ Hopkins, Kayla Fuerst, Craig Wiggins, Nate Wiggins, Daniel Harris, Duane Harris, Rodney Hopkins; nieces and nephews, Dougie, Leah, Cindy, Missy, Molly, Kali & Jeremy Hoag.

In his younger days, Dan loved to be outdoors and especially like to go hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Dan’s life is being planned for a later date.
