FAQ's

Question:  I want to arrange a funeral through you so I don’t have to pay extra to use the hearse, but my loved one isn’t from Sheridan or Stanton, does the funeral have to be there?
 
Answer:  No! You can have the funeral wherever you like.  Just because we arrange the funeral through our funeral home in Sheridan or Stanton, doesn’t mean the funeral has to be there.  We are more than willing to come to you and hold the funeral wherever you would like and wherever is meaningful to you and your family.
 

Question:  Can another funeral home in Montcalm County use this hearse?

Answer:  No.  In Montcalm County this specific hearse is only available through Simpson Family Funeral Homes.


Question:  Is this a real hearse?

Answer:  Yes, this is a completely functioning motorcycle hearse and is available for use by any family who requests it.
 
 
Question:  How far will you travel with this motorcycle hearse?
 
Answer:  We will go as far as we are asked to.
 
 
Question:  What does the driver of the hearse wear?
 
Answer:  We wear a white shirt, black tie and black leather vest.
 
 
Question:  Can someone who was cremated use the hearse?
 
Answer:  Yes.  This motorcycle hearse can be used both full size caskets as well as urns.
 
 
Question:  Can someone be driven by their favorite spot on the way to the cemetery?
 
Answer:  Yes.  We are all about celebrating life and honoring those we serve.  We are more than willing to drive by someone favorite hangout, their house, the neighborhood they grew up in, etc.
 
 
Question:  What won’t you do?
 
Answer:  As long as it isn’t illegal, we will do just about anything to help honor and celebrate someone’s life.
 
 
Question:  If we aren’t doing a graveside service, can someone still rent the hearse to give someone a last ride?
 
Answer:  Yes, absolutely.
