The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Douglas Chapin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: We were saddened to hear of the passing of Doug. Unfortunately we were out of town for the Sunday memorial. Doug was a wonderful person. When ever we would meet in passing he was friendly and cheerful with a twinkle in his eyes an a smile on his face. And usually a story about his latest yard sale find. We will miss him. May you lessen the sadness by remembering all the good times, and the goodness he brought to our community.
